We are delighted to announce that our “Material Change “ application to the DfE to extend our age range to 4-13 has been approved. This process involved a one-day Ofsted inspection , known as a material change inspection, and the resulting report can be found here.
This means that our current Year 6 children can remain with us into Year 7 and then progress in due course into Year 8. Our aim has always been to extend further, eventually into Year 11 and beyond.
It also means that we can accept applications from parents whose children are not existing pupils at IGS: Durham. We have a small number of places available.
